Sarah is a chartered member of the British Psychological Society (BPS).
She has been interested in what makes people tick since she can remember. She studied psychology at the University of Nottingham when she left school, and returned there to complete a masters degree in occupational psychology some years later. She still lives in Nottingham.
She follows developments in the field with great interest. It is a very busy and exciting time for academic psychologists. Huge amounts of research are being carried out which help to explain our brain development and functioning and which lead to greater understanding of behaviour, motivation, emotions and the way we think.
Sarah is an applied psychologist, and is qualified as an occupational psychologist. She is particularly aware of the growing need for people to make sense of the rapidly changing world around them. Through her writing, coaching and consultancy work, Sarah aims to apply psychology in a very real and grounded way.
